AMF SYSTEM ADVANTAGES

A. Simple operation
The STEEL.COM AMF system is extremely simple to operate, contains no complex mechanical equipment and requires no manual involvement. It is, however, an extremely efficient solids removal system, with very low maintenance and operating
costs.
B. High efficiency
In contrast to conventional fat traps (collection sumps), solids are removed from the wastewater on an automatic and continuous basis The solids are removed and stored separately in a concentrated form thus reducing sludge removal costs.
C. Reduced odor problems
The AMF system is an aerobic process. Odor problems connected with collection sumps are overcome. In addition, solids are removed in a “fresh” state thus increasing the possibility of re-use and reducing disposal nuisance.
D. Cost savings
The efficient removal of fat, suspended solids, BOD and COD can greatly reduce sewer charges or can enable plant expansion without increased surcharges.
E. Low running costs
Maintenance and manual attendance are minimal.
F. Economy
Due to its completely “packaged” nature and design simplicity the system is very attractive from cost point of view. Civil works are reduced to a minimum.
G. The package
The AMF system is supplied as a complete package, with all tanks and mechanical and electrical equipment. It can be installed either at ground level or below, or better in an elevated position. Installation time is reduced to a minimum.
